LA Daily News

Based in Woodland Hills, the Los Angeles Daily News is LA's second largest newspaper, targeting its coverage on San Fernando Valley issues and news. It has been around (under different names) since 1911.

I worked there as a news intern at the city desk during the summer of 2013, after my freshman year. I covered everything, from a "Doggie Dancy" show in Canoga Park to a sexual assault case at a local mall. And, with support from the amazing Daily News team, I had a lot of fun with it all. See my portfolio of feature and news stories from the summer, including an article that was aggregated on the Huffington Post website.
